Five-run seventh inning propels Braves to win over Marlins

While the final score of Friday's Braves-Marlins game may indicate a blowout, it took a big seventh inning for Atlanta to pull away from its NL East rival. 

Atlanta plated five runners in the seventh frame to pull out to a 7-0 lead, which turned into an 8-1 Braves win in game one of the weekend series. 

After Marlins starter Trevor Rogers allowed tonly wo earned runs in five innings, Atlanta's bats exploded in the seventh inning. Eight hitters reached base for the Braves in the inning.

The scoring started with a bases-loaded walk for Matt Olson. Marcell Ozuna singled to left, which led to scores by Ronald Acuna Jr. and Ozzie Albies, extending the lead to 5-0. Then infield singles by both Michael Harris II and Orlando Arcia scratched across the final two runs of the seventh.
